Our Story
High Point Cabinets is a family-owned Amish cabinet shop in Ohio’s Amish Country, tucked between Apple Creek, Mt. Eaton and Mt. Hope.
The workshop sits next to Dave Mast’s family home, and that is where every project begins. We are not a big box manufacturer and we do not build stock cabinetry. Each cabinet is carefully crafted one at a time by the same skilled team that designs it and installs it.
Guided by Amish values like honesty, integrity and craftsmanship, our work reflects the care and quality that define who we are. The result is heirloom-quality pieces built to last for generations.

We prioritise consistent communication through the entire design, build and installation process. Every project is unique, so we follow a general outline and keep it moving.

We sit down and discuss your project. A good chance to get to know each other and work out exactly what you need.

Measurements
We travel to your home and take careful measurements to make sure the cabinets we build will fit just right.
STEP 03
Sketches & CAD
We sketch out the ideas we discussed, then turn them into a complete digital rendition of your project for approval.
STEP 04
Build & Install
We build your cabinets to the exact specifications of your project, then bring them to your home and install them.

The questions homeowners ask us most about cost, timing, travel and looking after a new kitchen.
It is difficult to answer the cost question, because it is much like buying a car. There are many different options from which to choose and a lot of personalization to take into account. Your wood choice, the size of your kitchen and the features you select all move the number. Once we have measured and agreed a design, you get an itemised quote with no surprises in it.
From the time you approve the final plans, you can expect the process to take approximately eight weeks. The installation itself only takes a day or two, because every piece has already been built to the exact dimensions of your room before it leaves our shop.
We have shipped custom kitchen cabinets nationwide, and we generally work within Ohio, West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania. Most of our installations sit within a two-hour radius of the shop, which covers Wooster, Cleveland, Columbus, Powell and Pittsburgh.
Yes. High Point Cabinets is not a big box cabinet manufacturer. We do not build stock cabinetry. Each cabinet is built one at a time, specifically for your home, by the same team that designs and installs it.
Yes. A great deal of our work is in new construction, and we are used to coordinating drawings, dimensions and delivery dates with builders and architects so the cabinetry arrives exactly when the site is ready for it.
