Custom Kitchen Cabinets

It is difficult to answer the cost question, because it is much like buying a car. There are many different options from which to choose and a lot of personalization to take into account. Your wood choice, the size of your kitchen and the features you select all move the number. Once we have measured and agreed a design, you get an itemised quote with no surprises in it.

From the time you approve the final plans, you can expect the process to take approximately eight weeks. The installation itself only takes a day or two, because every piece has already been built to the exact dimensions of your room before it leaves our shop.

We have shipped custom kitchen cabinets nationwide, and we generally work within Ohio, West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania. Most of our installations sit within a two-hour radius of the shop, which covers Wooster, Cleveland, Columbus, Powell and Pittsburgh.

Yes. High Point Cabinets is not a big box cabinet manufacturer. We do not build stock cabinetry. Each cabinet is built one at a time, specifically for your home, by the same team that designs and installs it.

Yes. A great deal of our work is in new construction, and we are used to coordinating drawings, dimensions and delivery dates with builders and architects so the cabinetry arrives exactly when the site is ready for it.

We strongly discourage anyone except the most experienced DIYers from installing or finishing their own cabinetry. Our finish is applied in six steps and ends with a catalyzed conversion varnish, and our installation is covered by the same ten-year warranty as the cabinets themselves.

For the most part, using a slightly damp, lint-free rag and drying with a second lint-free rag will do the job. For a deeper clean we recommend the Heirloom Essentials products from Woodright, which are made for finishes like ours.
